The cheese shop at Olive really defines the deli. Artisan cheeses are treated with care at Olive and are carefully maintained at the correct temperature and served to the customer at the perfect ripeness. A beautifully crafted artisan cheese is just one of those amazing culinary delights, whether you decide to enjoy it as it is, with a glass of lovely wine, or should you decide to incorporate it into a in a recipe.
At Olive cheese shop we support our Irish cheeses, such as the wonderful farmhouse Gubbeen , the rich and strong Durrus and the mild crumbly Ryefield goats cheese to name but a few. We also adore our French cheeses, such as the sweet Bleu D’auvergne, wonderfully pungent Brie de Meaux and the sweet and nutty Comte which is always NO1 on our customers’ best sellers list.
In our cheese shop at Olive, look out for the” Cheese of the week “ blackboard and always feel free to ask any member of staff for a tasting of any of our artisan cheeses. At Olive, daily tastings are very important to us, so you will more than likely already have been offered a few nibbles of cheese whether on the tasting table outside (Saturdays and Sundays) or at the till...... but if you don’t see this on the day you visit..... please just ask!
